Foam runs out slowly. Glue and sealer run out fast. This is the restock: the same contact cement and Flexbond from your Dagger Kit, plus a fresh pack of sponge brushes to put them on with.
These are the two steps where builds go wrong. Seams that pop open or show through paint come down to the contact cement. Paint that cracks when the foam flexes comes down to the seal. You’ve already learned to do both right. This keeps you stocked with the exact products the course was built around.
What’s inside
- Zelikovitz 1882 Water-Based Contact Cement, 4oz. For seams, joints and laminating foam layers. Twice the bottle you got in the kit.
- Vaelrys Flexbond, 2oz. Seals and primes your foam before paint, and stays flexible when the foam bends.
- Sponge Brushes, 10-pack. For applying both.
In the order you’ll use them
- Assemble with contact cement. Thin coat on both surfaces, wait until it turns from milky to clear, then press.
- Seal with Flexbond. Thin, even coats, each fully dry before the next.
- Paint on a surface that’s ready for it.
Bench tip: keep separate brushes for cement and Flexbond. Cement left on a brush will gum it up and leave lumps in your seal coat. Sponge brushes are cheap, so toss them when they’re done.
Shipping
Add it to a Foam Refill Pack and your whole order ships free.
Care
Store both bottles at room temperature with caps tight. Don’t let them freeze. Water-based products won’t recover once frozen.
